I was very fortunate to have a wonderful father in law in my life for 25 years, Francis Brennan. He was 90 years old and fought to live up until the very end. He passed from this life July 2, 2012 and will be missed greatly by me and many others. I loved his zest for life (and food), his smile, and the twinkle in his eyes. He never complained and was proud of the fact that he was in the Navy. He told the boys stories about the money tree and the leperchauns in his backyard, he taught me how to "chip" and eat steamers and lobsters, loved sports and was always proud of his children and grandchildren.
He was a gentle man that taught his children to respect, love and honor and put family first which his son, Michael (my husband) has instilled in our children. What a great legacy to pass on by a great man!
